The History of the Internet
The internet as we use it today has gone through a lot of development and has come a long way since its humble military beginnings. The timeline really shows how slowy but sure, the little bits and pieces were put together to make the internet even better. The article is a bit dated, since its data was compiled in 1997, but it still gives a pretty thorough history of the internet. It also names all of the organizations involved, such as DARPA and CERN and it tells you what all of the acronyms stand for. Although I'm suprised NAMBLA wasn't involved in any way. Still it was a very informative article and it seems we take the internet for granted and disregard how far it has advanced.
